Iraq Internet Exchange Points Project

The Iraq Internet Exchange Points (IRAQ-IXP) project, being implemented for the General Company for Telecommunications and Informatics, consists of setting up 8 exchange points in 6 Iraqi governorates and establishing 4 certified data centers according to international standards approved by the Uptime Institute. Significant progress has been made in the implementation of this project, including the signing of several agreements with global content providers and the agreement to establish the national DNS and national cloud computing services aimed at localizing Iraqi data. The strategic partnership with DE-CIX effectively contributes to ensuring the implementation of this project in accordance with international standards and marketing the project's products to local and global markets.

National Data Center Project for the Cabinet Secretariat

The National Data Center project for the Cabinet Secretariat includes the import and installation of a prefabricated data center by Huawei, as part of the digital transformation movement in Iraq. The project is being implemented based on a strategic partnership contract with Huawei in Iraq.

About Us

The company was established under the name "Civilization Company for Information Technology, Communications, and Limited Internet Services" by a group of investors and engineers specialized in the field of telecommunications, networks, and internet services. They have extensive experience in the field of networks and data centers during their work with major content providers and global data exchange centers.

In late 2021, our team started implementing two highly significant projects in the world of internet services and data centers:

The company provides all technical solutions for networks at various levels, starting from Data Centers to optical fiber networks, DWDM networks, and information security solutions:

DWDM Networks

DWDM Network Solutions: Our company is one of the strategic partners of Huawei, a global company, for implementing infrastructure projects. Our company has executed some projects in Armenia to install and operate a DWDM network between the capital Yerevan and the northern and southern borders of Armenia.

Fiber Cable

Fiber Cable Installation: The company installs fiber optic cables in most Middle Eastern countries. In Iraq, our company has provided many Iraqi companies with fiber optic cables that are used today in fiber optic cable projects for internet service providers and mobile network operators.

Data Centers

Data Center Solutions: Our company has established several data centers in Iraq for many Iraqi banks in Baghdad and Amman and connected them through secure MPLS networks for financial data transmission. Additionally, our company is currently implementing Data Center projects for the Cabinet Secretariat as part of e-governance projects, as well as establishing 4 data centers as part of the Iraq Internet Exchange Points (IRAQ-IXP) project.
